I quickly fell in love with indoor cycling in 2007 after taking just a handful of classes. However, I still felt something was missing in the classes I participated in. Instead of waiting to get what I needed, and what I thought my fellow riders needed, I decided to become a certified cycling instructor. My goal in becoming an instructor was to provide classes where people felt motivated, courageous, and inspired all while listening to great music!
I have found something very special in my role as an instructor. It has become a truly amazing way to share my passion and help members be the best they can possibly be. I consider myself one of the most fortunate people on earth because of that. It is humbling and heartwarming to be able to have a profound impact on someone, and this inspires me even more than I could ever have imagined. Being able to coach my riders to push themselves out of their comfort zones, giving them the confidence to stay there, despite how awful it feels, and then to try it again moves me with every ride. I use visual cues, breathing techniques, mindfulness, and of course great music from every decade to keep members motivated in my classes. With me, what you see is what you get. I believe in indoor cycling. It really does work, and hopefully you see this in me and it endears you to my classes and allows you to trust me.
When I am not in the cycle studio you can find me cutting the lawn, planting flowers in my yard, or enjoying quiet time on my deck while I lie in the sun. I have 3 wonderful children and a loving husband that support me in all I do which makes it easy to turn dreams into reality. I can’t wait to share my passion for fitness and cycling with you!
